Survodutide

Survodutide (development code BI 456906) is a novel dual GLP-1/glucagon receptor agonist peptide developed by Boehringer Ingelheim in partnership with Zealand Pharma, designed for the treatment of obesity, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), and type 2 diabetes. It simultaneously activates two distinct metabolic hormone receptors: glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucagon (GCG), delivering complementary effects on body weight reduction, hepatic fat metabolism, and glycemic control.
